Levels

Levels are somewhat flexible, however, to ensure the continuity of the learning as well as the homogeneity of the classes:

Beginners:
Little or no knowledge of yoga practice according to the teachings of BKS Iyengar.

Continuing Beginners/Improvers:
Past the introductory stage (4 months) with an understanding of the use of props, and practice of Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand).

Level I:
At least one year of regular practice, including regular practice of inverted poses: Sirsasana (headstand) and Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand)

Communal Classes
Improvers and level 1, no absolute beginners
